Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device that allow a site to recognise your browser and store information about your visit. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, SDKs and local/session storage. In this Policy we use 'cookies' to refer to all of these.

Strictly necessary (always on)

Required to deliver the Service you have requested — for example authentication tokens that keep you signed in, session cookies, CSRF protection and cookie consent state. These do not require your consent.

Functional (consent-based)

Remember your accessibility settings (text size, reduced motion), language preference and non-essential in-product state.

Analytics (consent-based)

Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. Where enabled, we may use privacy-preserving analytics and (only with your consent) Google Analytics. IP addresses are truncated where the tool supports it.

Marketing (consent-based)

Used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where implemented, to show relevant AIAH.Health content on other platforms. This may include the Meta Pixel and comparable advertising pixels, only set if you consent.

When you first visit our website you will see a cookie banner allowing you to Accept all, Reject all or open Preferences to make granular choices. Your choices are stored and you can change them at any time from the 'Cookie preferences' link in the site footer.

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect how the Service works.

Some cookies are set by third parties acting as independent controllers for their own purposes. Where we embed third-party functionality (such as payment forms, video players or analytics) we identify those providers in our cookie preference centre. Please refer to those providers' own privacy notices.

Our mobile application does not use browser cookies but may use device identifiers, app-scoped local storage and mobile SDKs. On first launch, and again if you change device settings, you will be asked to consent to any non-essential tracking, in line with Apple ATT and Android equivalent requirements.

Where enabled, we use Google Analytics in a privacy-preserving configuration: IP anonymisation, data-sharing disabled, no advertising features. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent.

Where the Meta Pixel is implemented, it is loaded only if you consent to marketing cookies. Meta acts as a joint controller for pixel data; you can review Meta's privacy notices for their processing.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time. You also have the rights set out in our Privacy Policy — including access, correction, erasure and to complain to the ICO.
